My Mabel waits for me
Underneath the bright blue sky
Where the" Dog sits on the Tuckerbox "
5 miles from Gundagai
When I hear the name Gundagai, I think of this song straight away, and also the Infamous Bush Ranger "
" Ned Kelly "
Gundagai in N. S. W. Australia' is the Aboriginal word for --place of birds --
This town, perhaps more than any other Australian Locality, is, in reference to many stories, songs, and poems
